Perfect day to get out from my room. Temperature meter showed 22 Celsius and sun was shining from cloudless sky. This is like Finnish summer already (or like the best few days of it...;).

Antibiotics

Have been sleeping last 3 days. Month ago I was fighting against a nasty flu. Thought that I won the battle. Maybe I did, but in the end got something much worse. Went to see japanese doctor on Monday and she sent me straight away to home to rest for 3 days with lots of pills with me. Back then had fever and was coughing my lungs out. Now temperature is down and lungs stayed inside. Tomorrow I'll see the doctor again. Beeing sick really sucks.

Time to get out, the sakura is starting.

Trainspotting

After the party, mentioned in the last post, crowled into a train (first trains start at 5:00 am). Played some solitaire with my cellphone and fell a sleep. Mistake. Woke up at 10:30 am. Jumped out of train, wondered for a second where did this Finnish boy end up this time. Station list didn't give any hints of familiar names.... Took picture below of this countryside statation of Tokyo. If someone recocnises let me know which station it is :D



Naturally behind my back was full of rice fields. At least this is smaller than my home station (have to walk 15 min to be middle of rice fields).

Ok, next bought a soda and walked downstairs to find out how to get home. Every station in this huge city have stuff helping us passengers. :) Got list of stations where to change and which train. Easy job, only two stations... After 6 hours, many trains, many stations and uncountable amount of helpful people I stepped to the concrete floor of my home station. Home. Hungry. Funny, still felt a sleep immediately after stepped inside my room. It must be true what they say here that sleeping gas is released inside the cars...

ROCK'N ROLL

Three weeks ago went to see japanese rock band called The Faceful. And BTW, they have been playing also in Finland in 2003. Great music, check yourself if interested! Ok, since then have worked hard, been sick, and had lots of fun!! Actually right now I'm bit hurry (have to go to get my camera which I lost last Friday...luckilly I dropped it in a taxi). Ok, more story and pics later. moi.

Rocky Balboa

First time this week time to eat proper breakfast. Last supper before starting to work for several urgent assingments. This weekend I'll spending here at the lab for a change. Ok, on Saturday I'll go to Finnish embassy to vote in parliament elections and get a new passport...not that I'm going to travel anywhere in near future...

Oh BTW, won again free movie tickets. Three times I have participated in this Daily Yomiuri's (Japanese newspaper in english) "give a ways"-thing and everytime got 2 tickets. This time the movie will be the preliminery show of "Rocky Balboa". Yes, all the movies are comming here much later than to Europe.

Actually this Tuesday we were late from the "free" movie (it takes some money to traven in the other side of Tokyo;) and couldn't get in to the theather. So, we went to a game center instead. TEKKEN 5 is soooooooooo GOOD! Spent 10 euros and was playing 1.5 hours! Now I have stay far a way from PS3 or I can say goodbye for studying... (^_^)

Did it. Stayed in my bed whole 2 days. Can't say do I feel any better 'cause I'm so sleepy right now (why sleeping makes you even more sleepy?). Better to go say "hi" to sandman right away.

And Gibli Studio's animations are sooooooooo GREAT!

Took 8 DVDs from Fujigaoka video rental shop. 5 japanese animations, 2 japanese movies and 1 hollywood action. Cultural weekend, will this keep me in bed?
